I¡¯ve bought these IQBAR Peanut Butter Chip bars so many times, and they never disappoint. The peanut butter flavor is legit, and the little chocolate chips make it feel like a treat without all the sugar. A lot of protein bars taste chalky or weirdly artificial, but these are actually good.

Blueberry Lemon: Far better, strong blueberry and lemon flavor with blueberry bits.

Blueberry: This had a deeper blueberry flavor, a better improvement. Good bits of blueberry.

The biggest thing for me is that they help keep my cravings in check, especially at night. Instead of reaching for something sugary, I¡¯ll have one of these, and it totally satisfies me. Plus, 12g of plant protein and only 1g of sugar.

1) Matcha Chai: I didn’t even know they had this flavor. It’s a new one to me. The matcha flavor is there and on point. It’s a flavor I’m not used to but it might grow on me. I definitely like the ingredients this one has.

I’m finally submitting an updated review. I was sent a sample variety box from the Co-Founder. I was hesitant about these bars at 1st but gradually tried each. Indeed they did make changes. I gotta say, great improvements. The flavors are much better than before and have more of a moist, yet not oily, oatmeal/soft-like texture. Normally I like my bars cold but these are very good at room temperature. I went ahead and tried a bit of the remaining ones. I’ll go through each favor.

I love everything about IQBAR! I have been in the fitness industry for over a decade (and ironically also struggled with an eating disorder for a big portion of that time – when I was 19 years old I ate ONLY Quest bars. Literally only Quest bars because of the high protein and low fat/sugar, despite all the other garbage ingredients in them). A few years ago, entering into my late 20s, I started having severe GI distress and was diagnosed last year with CSID (most likely but not yet proven scientifically to be related to the long term ED behavior). Everything I ate caused extreme bloating and horrible gas and my life was miserable for the two years it took my doctor to diagnose CSID. I have medication for it now, but the amount I can take daily is limited. During the years of figuring out my diagnosis, I entered ED recovery and discovered IQBARs. I liked that they had protein but not like bodybuilding amounts of protein, and that they include wonderful ingredients. I¸M¿öe found that IQBARs sit well in my stomach and cause no distress «¡ØÝ«¡¾§ NOT saying this is going to be true for everyone but is true for me due to the very low amount of sugar in each bar. They also taste great and I love the chewiness.

I tried one of these from the limited selection in a local store, I was impressed. The 12 grams of protein and 3 net carbs worked well for me. I¡¯m diabetic and struggle getting enough protein since animal products do not agree with me often. These bars are a great snack or meal supplement for me. The texture took me a bit to get used to, and I so wish they would drop using palm oil, but those are personal issues. The flavors are decent, but more importantly to me is 12grams of plant protein. I¡¯ve already ordered more to start stocking up for summer activities. Convenient to stick in a bag. Since it¡¯s winter weather, I can¡¯t vouch for how well they will hold up in the heat, it I don¡¯t forsee any issues. I can jump my blood sugar with just about anything, but for that to work, I need protein to slow absorption and make it less likely to spike and drop. I think these will do the trick. Yes there are a lot of protein bars out there, but most so sugar laden it does me almost no good. The lower net carbs, extra fiber and good easy to digest protein truly were what I¡¯ve been looking for!

The flavour is incredible!
